Bally’s Corporation has beefed up its global compliance and responsibility department through the addition of two new senior executives who have been hired this week.

Don Westcott and Tammi Barlow have been appointed to the roles of SVP, Global Chief Compliance Officer and VP of Global Responsibility and Social Impact, respectively.

The casino operator is aiming to be an industry leader in compliance and responsibility and has hired over 35 years’ worth of experience in a bid to shore up these departments.

Kim M Barker, EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Bally’s, said: “On behalf of the entire leadership team, I am pleased to welcome Don and Tammi to Bally’s.

“Their deep expertise enables Bally’s to continue our progress toward building industry-leading compliance, responsible gaming and social impact functions as the Company continues to grow and expand.”

Westcott has over 25 years of experience in the gaming and financial services industries. He joins Bally’s from payments firm Nuvei, where he served as Global Head of Compliance.

Previously in his career, he has worked for companies such as Fiserv and First Data in VP and Director roles, as well as in the financial sector providing compliance services to the gaming industry.

Barlow, meanwhile, joins Bally’s from Rush Street Interactive, where she led the operator’s CSR strategy, including its RG policies.

In this role, she outlined RSI’s diversity, equity, and inclusion program, its CSR programs, and developed the strategy to create its first community engagement and employee volunteerism program.

She also serves as a committee member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Global Gaming Women and is currently Chairwoman of the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling.
