Mohegan‘s iGaming arm Mohegan Digital launched a new online casino in Pennsylvania on April 25, marking its iGaming expansion in the state.
The new Play.MoheganPAcasino.com website and associated mobile apps are now live and offering a range of slots, table games, live dealer titles and more to users in the Keystone State.
A release states that Play.MoheganPAcasino.com hands out daily jackpots and boasts more than 500 games including the likes of the BlackJack Diamond Series, Cash Machine, Wheel of Fortune PowerWedges, Cleopatra, 88 Fortunes, Deal or No Deal Slingo and Baccarat.
The company says Mohegan Digital expects its slate to reach 700 games by this summer.
The Pennsylvania-branded site expands Mohegan Digital’s operations to a fourth North American jurisdiction, after Connecticut, New Jersey and the Canadian province of Ontario.
“This is an exciting moment for Mohegan Digital as we expand our very own online gaming brand to Pennsylvania, in close coordination with Mohegan Pennsylvania,” said Rich Roberts, president of Mohegan Digital. “Our growth with the MoheganSunCasino.com app in Connecticut and New Jersey continues to surpass expectations, as does our PlayFallsView app in Ontario, Canada. To now have our fourth launch in the great state of Pennsylvania marks another great opportunity for Mohegan Digital!”
As well as its variety of games, Play.MoheganPAcasino.com will offer its users a free-to-join loyalty rewards program wherein players can earn points and rewards. The program will be synced between the new website and the bricks-and-mortar Mohegan Pennsylvania Casino and Resort.
“We’re dedicated to offering an unmatched online gaming platform in the fast-growing iGaming industry,” said Guy Greene, VP of Marketing, Mohegan Digital. “Creating a fun, immersive and user-friendly experience, combined with reliability and great guest service are features that Mohegan Digital have become synonymous with, and we’re thrilled to bring it all to Pennsylvania.”
Mohegan to rebrand Mohegan Pennsylvania Casino sportsbook
Mohegan also announced that it will be rebranding the Mohegan Pennsylvania casino’s sportsbook.
The sportsbook previously carried Unibet branding but will soon be known as Mohegan Pennsylvania Sportsbook. Mohegan branding will also be installed at Mohegan Pennsylvania’s off-track wagering locations in Lehigh Valley and Allentown. Unibet’s parent company, Kindred, is in the process of exiting the North American market.
These changes are the company’s latest branding moves in the U.S. market since Greene was appointed to his VP position last October.
Meanwhile, the company’s Chief Operating Officer Jody Madigan resigned abruptly last week after two and a half years in the role. He has been replaced on an interim basis by Mohegan Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas General Manager Joseph Hasson.
