Relax Gaming content is now available via another operator in New Jersey through a new partnership with PlayStar.

The iGaming aggregator and content supplier’s North American-facing brand, RLX Gaming, has signed an agreement with online casino operator PlayStar as it continues to expand its reach across the continent.

PlayStar has been in New Jersey since 2022. It already offers a portfolio of more than 600 games on its online gaming platform, as well as a loyalty program and community-focused rewards. Among its existing partners in the state are Wazdan and Play’n GO, the latter of which it added to its portfolio of games earlier in August.

Relax Gaming first went live in the Garden State’s online gaming market in December 2023. By signing up with the operator, it hopes to further penetrate one of the deepest online gaming markets in the U.S.

“We have enjoyed wonderful growth in New Jersey since launching last December, with our content resonating well with the ever-growing online demographic,” said Relax CEO Martin Stålros. “This partnership with PlayStar ensures we are well-positioned to gain even more momentum in the region.”

“RLX Gaming’s entry into New Jersey has been impressive to see and it has established an outstanding reputation,” added Dan Alexander, chief operations officer at PlayStar. “We are thrilled to integrate an outstanding content portfolio into our offering and bring unmatched experiences to our player base.”

Relax continues to stretch legs in U.S.

Relax Gaming provides more than 4,000 online casino games, from its high-performing proprietary slots to a significant, varied library of content from hand-picked third-party studios via its partnership programs.

Its launch in New Jersey last December via a deal with BetMGM was its first U.S. market entry as RLX Gaming. It already had a significant presence in Ontario’s regulated online casino market.

Last June, two months after Stålros had been promoted to become the company’s new CEO, RLX and BetMGM extended their partnership into the Pennsylvania iGaming market.

Chief Regulatory Officer Alexia Smilovic Rønde told SBC Americas after that Pennsylvania launch that Relax is focusing its U.S. efforts on the “three main U.S. states for iGaming”: New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
