Rush Street Gaming is adding new talent to its leadership team.
The casino developer has announced the appointment of hospitality veteran Cliff Ehrlich as Chief Operating Officer. Ehrlich, who brings over 25 years of experience in gaming, will take over for current Rush Street COO Bill Keena, who is planning to retire by the end of 2024. Ehrlich will assume the role of COO immediately with Keena consulting before his retirement.
“I’ve admired Rush Street’s strong leadership and steady expansion over the past two decades,” said Ehrlich. “I’m thrilled to join this dynamic organization and look forward to contributing to the company’s ongoing success.”
Ehrlich brings a wealth of casino experience to Rush Street Gaming as a former marketer at Pines Resort Hotel in the Catskills. He also became a co-owner of Monticello Raceway in 1996 and guided the Oneida Indian Nation to build a retail casino on the property.
Ehrlich has also served as the general manager and COO of The Downs Racetrack & Casino in New Mexico and in 2022 he was named COO of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise where he oversaw four casinos, a resort destination hotel, and a travel plaza.
Rush Street bolsters roster
The addition of Ehrlich adds to recent leadership changes for Rush Street Interactive.
Earlier this year, the Chicago-based company appointed Brian Sapp to its newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer.
Sapp joined Rush Street after serving as Head of Growth at Rec Room, a free multiplayer online game that features an integrated game creation system. During his time at Rec Room, Sapp was integral in driving growth for the company and its user base.
He also spent time at Jam City as Vice President of User Acquisition Marketing & Ads.
