Online casino brand PlayStar will now offer Play’n GO games to its customers in its only market, New Jersey.

The two companies have signed a deal for PlayStar to add a range of titles from the Play’n GO studio to its growing roster of 600+ games. Those will include the likes of popular grid slot series Reactoonz, Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus and Legion Gold.

A press release said that both parties view the collaboration as “a key partnership in what has already proved to be a thriving regulated market in the U.S.

PlayStar says the move is an important step as it looks to increase its New Jersey market share. The operator reported iGaming revenue of $1.9 million in the Garden State in June.

“We’re very proud of the incredible popularity PlayStar has enjoyed since launching in New Jersey – and one of the key components of that success has been always ensuring that we offer the very best in casino content to our customer,” said Dan Alexander, COO at PlayStar.

“Partnering with Play’n GO will allow us to double down on this proposition in the Garden State by enabling us to provide fan-favorite titles like Reactoonz and Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead on our platform and we’re sure players are going to love discovering what the studio is all about.”

“Play’n GO has long since established itself as one of the most sought-after providers in the iGaming industry and partnering with an up-and-coming brand like PlayStar will help us significantly boost our exposure in the New Jersey market,” added Magnus Olsson, CCO at Play’n GO.

Play’n GO currently offers more than 360 titles to operators in numerous jurisdictions. PlayStar offers a range of popular slots in addition to live dealer games from Evolution.

PlayStar takes seat in Garden State

PlayStar launched in New Jersey back in October 2022 through a market access deal with Ocean Resort Casino.

Nine months later, it received significant investment from Glitnor Group, which acquired 37.5% of the brand in July 2023. Glitnor’s portfolio already included the likes of Swintt, Lucky Casino and HappyCasino. It has also received investment from Meyer Global Management in the past.

Last December, PlayStar’s Chief Marketing Officer Jon Bowden spoke to SBC Americas about how the company is looking to utilize a localized strategy to achieve success in New Jersey. The company reinforced that aim in May by teaming up with Fast Track to use the firm’s technology to help personalize its player experiences and streamline its operations.

PlayStar plans to launch in Pennsylvania and other states in the future.
