Swedish gaming supplier Play’n Go has confirmed market access in Connecticut as it continues its commitment to growth in the North American online casino sector.

The firm has gained a supplier license for Connecticut to ensure it will enter its fourth US online casino state, following previous launches in New Jersey, Michigan, and West Virginia.

Further North American ambition has seen the supplier operate in the Canadian province of Ontario, becoming one of the first suppliers to enter the market.

Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n Go, commented: “Gaining further market access to US igaming states has been an important goal of the company so it’s fantastic to be able to add Connecticut to our US push.

“Online gaming operators in the US are increasingly looking at retention strategies to mitigate against costly acquisition – especially in expensive media markets like the New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut tri-state area.

Play’n Go has big ambitions for 2023 following the confirmation of its licensing in Connecticut, as it anticipates releasing over 50 new slot games in its array of regulated jurisdictions during this year.

“Being able to bring Play’n Go games to Connecticut – the best content in the industry for retention – will be music to the ears of operators and their players,” Olsson continued.

“Our strategy is to be the best in every regulated market in the world. Our new license in Connecticut joins the more than 25 other regulated markets we are already thriving in, and we can’t wait to get started.”
