Relax Gaming is partnering with BetMGM to launch operations in Pennsylvania.
The iGaming content supplier is preparing to debut in the Keystone State after receiving interim authorization from the Pennsylvania Gambling Commission Board last month. The company’s launch in Pennsylvania marks its second in the U.S. with BetMGM.
Last December, Relax partnered with the operator to launch in New Jersey after obtaining a vendor transactional waiver from the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement.
“We’re extremely excited to continue our U.S. ambitions with the go live in Pennsylvania,” said Relax CEO Martin Stålros. “We have had a very encouraging start in New Jersey together with BetMGM and we’re delighted that our games resonate so well in the market. Launching in a new state allows us to continue our upward trajectory and progress further in the U.S. market in 2024.”
Relax has a global presence as a leading iGaming content supplier with licenses in some of the world’s largest gaming markets. The company has been granted market access by the UK Gambling Commission, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and the Malta Gaming Authority. The company also supports iGaming in Spain and Mexico.
Relax has a portfolio of more than 4,000 games and over 700 operator partners.
New leadership for Relax Gaming
Stålros was named Relax’s new CEO in April after previously serving as the company’s CPO. He replaced Simon Hammon, who had held the role since 2022.
Stålros, who was considered a “natural replacement” by Hammon, has been with Relax for the last 10 years. He previously worked at Kindred under the company’s Unibet brand.
