PENN Entertainment is bringing new online casino offerings to players in Michigan.

The Pennsylvania-based entertainment and gaming giant announced on Tuesday a collaboration with Light & Wonder to exclusively offer Hollywood Casino at Greektown live dealers to online players in Michigan. Users of Hollywood Casino’s online offerings in the Wolverine State have access to new live dealer versions of blackjack and baccarat.

The launch marks the first time PENN has offered iGaming titles with local property branding.

“We are pleased to partner with Light & Wonder to launch these bespoke gaming options for our customers in Michigan,” said PENN Interactive VP of Operations Jason Birney. “The addition of these games enhances our overall online casino offering in the state and creates important omnichannel touchpoints between our Greektown property and our Hollywood Casino product.”

In addition to new live dealer titles, Hollywood Casino players in Michigan can access a slew of iGaming titles from Light & Wonder. PENN has also added iGaming titles from Light & Wonder to its offerings from the theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino in Ontario.

As of August 2024, Light & Wonder has an online ecosystem that features more than 4,500 games from both in-house and third-party game studios. The company generated a record $2.9 billion in consolidated revenue in 2023, a 16% increase compared to the year prior.

Light & Wonder’s record revenue in 2023 was driven by an increase in machine sales for its Gaming business. In 2023, machine sales for Light & Wonder grew by 36% year-over-year.

It posted a net income of $180 million in 2023, up from a net loss of $176 million in 2022.
