Delaware North is bridging the gap between its portfolio of gaming verticals with the launch of a new brand that streamlines the company’s entertainment operations.

On Wednesday, the New York-based company announced the debut of its new business arm, Ember Entertainment. The new brand streamlines Delaware North’s gaming operations by creating a single ecosystem that houses the company’s gaming offerings.

“Delaware North has created a cohesive identity for our gaming business that reflects modern consumer expectations and positions us for growth in a rapidly expanding category,” said Ember Entertainment President Jason Gregorec.

Ember Entertainment houses Delaware North’s gaming options under one roof:

  • Retail casino gaming
  • Social casino
  • Rewards program
  • Online casino
  • Sportsbook

“The new omnichannel presence creates seamless customer engagement across all channels—physical, digital and experiential—connecting brick-and-mortar, digital gaming, sportsbook and rewards, as well as dining, lodging and retail at our gaming properties,” added Gregorec.

Ember Entertainment replaces the Delaware North Gaming & Entertainment brand as the entertainment and hospitality giant’s subsidiary for its gaming business.

Complete rebrand for Delaware North online gaming

Delaware North is undergoing a change that includes a refreshing of the company’s online casino brand. Delaware North rebranded its online casino operations in West Virginia to Ember Casino. Delaware North previously operated its online casino in the state under the Betly brand. The company debuted Ember Casino in June with its launch in New Jersey.

Delaware North eyed New Jersey for the launch of its Ember Casino brand, as online casinos in the state reported nearly $2.9 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2025, according to data provided by the company, allowing it to enter a robust and mature online casino market.

Ember Casino, powered by Playtech, plans to enter additional U.S. online casino markets.

Delaware North is also replacing its Betly online sports betting brand in West Virginia with Ember Sportsbook. Meanwhile, its MVGBet brand in Ohio will also undergo a rebrand.

Operational changes for Delaware North sports betting

Delaware North previously had a presence in Arkansas online sports betting through its collaboration with GAMING1. Delaware North provided players in Arkansas with access to its online sportsbook through Southland Casino Hotel’s online platform.

The company’s operations in Arkansas were transferred to DraftKings in March through a market-access agreement, allowing the Boston-based operator to launch in the state.

Betly is also no longer available in Tennessee after Delaware North made the decision in November 2025 to shutter operations in the state as part of a strategic realignment.

Tennessee’s gaming rules only allow operators to provide online betting, with no retail.

Delaware North’s rewards program also gets a new look

The launch of Ember Entertainment provides Delaware North players with a rewards experience. Ember Rewards replaces Delaware North’s previous rewards program, Lucky North Rewards, and migrates loyalty rewards earned across all of the company’s retail properties. Ember Rewards also houses all rewards earned by players via online gaming.

“Integrating physical and digital gaming through a unified rewards platform was a key objective in enhancing the overall customer journey and cross-property and cross-platform engagement,” said Ember Entertainment VP of Marketing Jill Eden.
