PrizePicks is deepening its ties in the NBA through a new partnership with the company’s hometown franchise and the team’s home arena.
The Atlanta-based sports gaming company announced a deal with the Atlanta Hawks, gaining access to the team’s broadcasts, digital platforms, and arena for advertising. State Farm Arena has served as the Hawks’ home arena since the 1999-2000 season and is an integral part of the budding relationship with PrizePicks.
State Farm Arena and PrizePicks are teaming up to create a PrizePicks-branded party deck. The deck is located inside State Farm Arena, establishing a gathering space for fans. The space will also be available during concerts and other events hosted at State Farm Arena.
PrizePicks will also have in-arena signage throughout the facility and brand integrations during game broadcasts, along with in-game stat updates.
The advertising materials PrizePicks and the Hawks plan to deliver will feature “imagery of certain groups of Atlanta Hawks.” SBC Americas reached out to PrizePicks about the inclusion of player imagery, with the operator indicating that it will not include players who have forged exclusive deals with other gambling brands. PrizePicks also confirmed that it requests approval from players to use their imagery in any marketing for the company.
The partnership between the Hawks and PrizePicks allows PrizePicks to use three players in a collective manner for its advertising with the team. SBC Americas reached out to the National Basketball Players Association about whether the use of three players is standard. This story will be updated if a response is received from the NBA labor union.
PrizePicks establishes relationship with the NBA
PrizePicks secured a deal with the Hawks less than three months after agreeing to a partnership with the NBA to make the company an official fantasy sports partner.
The deal allows PrizePicks to deliver co-branded promotional campaigns with the NBA and provides the company with rights to use NBA intellectual property for DFS and free-to-play products and marketing initiatives.
The rights include league, team, and NBA logos.
PrizePicks ties to the Peach State
PrizePicks is solidifying its footprint in Georgia through its deal with the Hawks, marking its first partnership with an NBA franchise. Its presence in Georgia’s professional sports landscape is also bolstered through a deal with the Atlanta Braves. PrizePicks and the Braves first forged a partnership in 2020, with a contract renewal signed in April 2025.
“We are thrilled to be the first NBA franchise to partner with PrizePicks,” said President of Business Enterprise for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, Andrew Saltzman.
“As two organizations with deep roots in Atlanta, we look forward to building something truly special together and creating new opportunities to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans.”
