FanDuel has recruited TV and media veteran Erin Andrews as the newest member of its Responsible Gaming Ambassador Program, the Flutter-owned brand announced on Thursday.
Andrews will support FanDuel in delivering RG messaging to customers across the country, and she and the operator will also collaborate to create and deliver campaigns and original social media and video content focused on FanDuel’s suite of RG tools and resources.
“The Responsible Gaming Ambassador program is really about raising awareness about gambling harms and sharing real stories,” FanDuel Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Sustainability Cory Fox told SBC Americas. “The program is also helping people to understand the risks and resources around gambling. We think that education and awareness are really critical for FanDuel customers and potential FanDuel customers.”
Fox said that Andrews appealed as a collaborator because she is a media industry veteran who bridges a gap between the sports industry and everyday Americans who may not be aware of readily available RG tools.
“There is an opportunity here to work with Erin Andrews, who has an incredible reputation as a broadcaster and so many sports fans connect with because she’s been on our screens for years as a sideline reporter while we’re watching NFL games and other sports,” added Fox. “It really raises the profile of what we are doing and is a great opportunity to connect with people, because people connect with Erin Andrews.”
Andrews to provide FanDuel with fresh ideas
Andrews joins a FanDuel Responsible Gaming Ambassador Program that also includes TV personality Craig Carton, who emerged as FanDuel’s first national ambassador in 2021. Last year, Carton and FanDuel teamed up to deliver an RG-focused program, ‘The Comeback with Craig Carton‘ on FanDuel TV and YouTube that focuses on discussing gambling addiction and recovery awareness between Carton and guests.
FanDuel could explore bolstering its programming by leveraging Andrews’ media expertise.

“We’ve got a number of great ideas for how to work with Erin and have her deliver this great message and deliver the message that our fans and bettors overall need to hear,” said Fox. “There’ll be more to come throughout the year”.
FanDuel’s ambassador program also includes former NBA player Randy Livingston and his wife, author and lawyer Anita Ondine Smith.
Fox said that FanDuel has no immediate plans to bolster the program’s roster but will consider expansion.
“We love the roster that we have as of today with Erin, but we will continue to look for ways to add additional ambassadors to the program that connect with our audience and maybe connect in different ways with different cohorts or demographics of our users,” said Fox.
Another new partnership for FanDuel
FanDuel unveiled Andrews as an ambassador on the same day that news emerged of its latest landmark deal.
Formula 1 has tapped FanDuel as the competition’s first official North American betting operator. The multiyear deal allows FanDuel to offer real-time F1 insights and content.
FanDuel is also offering new in-stream betting options for F1 races this season. The pact was secured ahead of Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix, F1’s first North American race in 2026.
