bet365 has extended its U.S. online sports betting reach to 13 states by launching in Tennessee, just days after it went live in Illinois.
The British sportsbook was approved for a license by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council on Feb. 11 and launched in the Volunteer State just over a month later, on March 16.
“Tennessee’s passionate sports fans have an insatiable appetite, and we are incredibly excited to present our fully stocked menu of offers, boosts, and more with them,” said a bet365 spokesperson.
In Illinois, its ramp-up period was much longer after it was approved in December and launched on March 13.
The double launch takes bet365 from 11 to 13 states. By entering Tennessee, it joins a state that was the first U.S. sports betting market to offer regulated online wagering without a retail component.
