Sports Information Services (SIS) has appointed Peter Camden as its new Competitive Gaming Product Manager.

He will be tasked with leading the company’s expanding Competitive Gaming products, including its Head-to-Head Global Gaming League which provides operators with live eSoccer and eBasketball contests between professional gamers.

“We are delighted to welcome Peter to SIS. His knowledge and skills will only strengthen our Competitive Gaming offering as we continue to make positive strides with our industry-leading product,” said SIS Head of Competitive Gaming Adam Conway.

“This is a hugely exciting time for SIS. We believe this appointment will help to further develop our product offering as we continue to make strong progress in regulated markets worldwide.”

Camden boasts over 20 years of leading sportsbook products at a number of companies, including betFIRST and Mybet.

SIS describes Camden as a “sportsbook product expert” and it says at GIMO he was responsible for launching its in-house developed sportsbook, and migrated over 15 countries to a new CMS and front-end platform.

“I am delighted to be joining SIS and specifically the Competitive Gaming division,” added Camden. “The company’s eBasketball and eSoccer products continue to provide an unparalleled experience for our operators and bettors, and I look forward to taking this range of engaging content to the next level”

SIS agree “landmark” deal with Genius Sports

Camden has joined the company at a time when it continues to expand its Competitive Gaming offering. Earlier this year, it agreed a “landmark” distribution deal with Genius Sports for its Competitive Gaming products.

As part of the agreement, SIS’ full library of events was made available to Genius Sports network of sportsbooks. Designed specifically for sportsbooks, the company’s competitive esports products are produced in-house at SIS’ U.K. studios and consist of over 150,000 live events per year. After the initial announcement in February, SIS expanded the partnership to include its H2H Global Gaming League portfolio.
