SIS (Sports Information Services) is bolstering its portfolio of live horse racing content.
The live betting content supplier has announced the addition of King Khalid Racecourse providing it with exposure to Saudi Arabia’s horse racing market. The facility, located in Ta’if, will hold races and simulcasts from July 4 through Sept. 28. It also hosts several marquee events, including the Ta’if Arabian Derby and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Cup.
“The quality of racing in Saudi Arabia continues to improve each year and it is great that we are now able to provide our partners with content from King Khalid Racecourse in Ta’if, the only racecourse in the region that races throughout the summer months,” said SIS VP Michele Fischer. “The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia has worked tirelessly to produce an engaging racing calendar and we are sure the addition of racing from Ta’if will lead to even more interest in Saudi Arabian racing.”
SIS’s horse racing content will now include an additional 273 Thoroughbred and 78 Purebred Arabian races across 39 days behind its partnership with King Khalid and the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia. Prize money has increased at King Khalid by 24% compared to last season with an average of $27,800 up for grabs each race. SIS’s presence at the facility gives the company access to more than 36,000 annual horse races.
SIS diversifies content
Last month, the British company secured a deal with bet365 to provide the operator with eSoccer markets through the integration of its H2H Global Gaming League. The league, built exclusivity for sportsbooks, also offers eBasketball markets through bet365.
Earlier this year, bet365 and SIS teamed up to launch eBasketball in Kentucky making the Bluegrass State the third U.S. market to host esports content delivered by SIS. The live betting content company also offers esports markets in New Jersey and Colorado.
