BetMGM has expanded its iGaming offering by unveiling a new online slot featuring imagery from the Excalibur Hotel and Casino, owned and operated by joint-parent company MGM Resorts.

Excalibur, developed by Entain’s in-house studio Win Studios, incorporates medieval themes with the “bright lights” of Las Vegas.

Excalibur is BetMGM’s latest slot that has reimagined an MGM Resorts Las-Vegas based resort casino.

In the past BetMGM has launched slots inspired by locations such as the Bellagio and MGM Grand. Most recently it debuted Luxor Fortunes which showcases elements of the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

“Excalibur is a fantastic addition to the collection of slots showcasing a selection of MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas casinos. We take tremendous pride in creating games around these world-class destinations and providing exciting games for our players,” said BetMGM Vice President of Gaming Product and Content Oliver Bartlett.

Excalibur is a five-reel, 20-line slot which offers 243 possible ways to win as well as a Tournament of Champions bonus round feature, activated when six or more casino chip symbols land on screen.

The slot is currently only available in New Jersey and Michigan, however, BetMGM plans on offering the game in all its live iGaming jurisdictions.

BetMGM enhances its security

Last week BetMGM announced it had secured a partnership with Prove Identity to leverage the digital security company’s Prove Pre-Fill identity solution. Prove Pre-Fill, which is used by more than 1,000 businesses, will allow BetMGM to accelerate its onboarding process for new customers by up to 79% as well as drive revenue for the operator.

The product, which is currently awaiting regulatory approval for use with BetMGM offerings, will protect gambling platforms from bonus and promotion abuse, which includes the exploitation of bonus codes for new users.
