DraftKings and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment have announced that they will open their first DraftKings Sports & Social venue at Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan on December 1.
Designed by ICRAVE with the sports fan in mind, the new DraftKings Sports & Social location promises to fill a niche by “providing an upscale, premier sports and entertainment experience” and “the next best game-watching experience outside of a stadium or arena”.
The Michigan venue is part of the strategic partnership between DraftKings and Sports & Social that began last year.
“It’s been great collaborating with Live! Hospitality & Entertainment on this exciting project, which will deliver sports fans a great game day experience,” commented Jeremy Elbaum, SVP of Business Development at DraftKings.
“With a shared commitment to innovation and entertainment, we look forward to opening our doors to customers in the Metro Detroit area.”
The 10,400 square-foot DraftKings Sports & Social will feature a 32-foot LED media wall and will host game days with emcees and DJs, live fan-cams, competitions and games, and audio and visual displays, including music and light effects.
The venue will have an exclusive DraftKings Lounge for private parties and events, a dog-friendly outdoor patio for al fresco dining, live music, and entertainment multiple days a week, and a wide variety of social games.
Customers can also use DraftKings’ mobile sportsbook and casino platforms in the venue to place wagers on football, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, soccer, tennis, and more while watching live games.

DraftKings Sports & Social will also have a gastropub menu of made-from-scratch items for lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well as brunch on the weekends. Special food and beverage-focused events will take place every week.
