Geolocation and compliance technology specialist Xpoint, specializing in US sports betting and igaming markets, has entered into an investment partnership with Courtside Ventures as it seeks to expand its position in global markets.

The partnership ensures Xpoint becomes the latest addition to Courtside’s portfolio that features companies such as The Athletic, StockX, 100 Thieves, Recur, and Winzo.

Marvin Sanderson, CEO and Co-Founder of Xpoint, commented: “Courtside Ventures have an incredible portfolio of investments across a range of industry sectors which complement Xpoint’s core business goals and values, and I am proud to welcome Courtside into our team.

“The Courtside team has a proven track record of identifying exciting new brands, challenging the norm from entertainment and media to technology and software. Their support will help us continue our accelerated growth, and will play a major role in helping us achieve the strong targets we have set for 2022 and beyond.”

Launching its online platform later this year, Xpoint already has deals with Sporttrade, Playstar Gaming and has another investment deal with Bettor Capital

The firm stated that the Courtside investment partnership will further aid its growth in the US and global marketplace, as it continues its aim of ‘transforming the global geolocation market.’

“Xpoint is a very natural fit for Courtside,” added Deepen Parikh, Courtside Ventures Partner.

“They have a world-class team, developing a solution for a rapidly growing industry that is poised for massive innovation. We are excited to work closely with Marvin and the whole team to create a market-leading business.”
