Ian Freeman, Chief Revenue Officer at FSB, topped the leaderboard in the GTG Network Hoops Galore challenge at last week’s SBC Summit North America.

Freeman wins an Apple Watch for his score of 12 on the new arcade-style basketball game for GTG – a gamification and fan engagement specialist for the sports betting industry.

Attendees were invited to play the mobile basketball game on an iPad across the two days at the Meadowlands Exposition Center.

The aim of the game is to drag or flick the ball (or casino chips and decks of cards depending on the round) into the hoop to score points.

Each player gets 10 shots, but the points vary according to the shot taken and there are streak bonuses available to boost the total score.

Nathan Rothschild, co-founder of GTG Network, said: “We are delighted to have sponsored the SBC North America Summit. Industry feedback is already circulating a consensus view that it was an excellent conference, and it was great to do our bit to support the return of in-person events.”

Hoops Galore is the latest in a line of successful sports-based games for GTG Network, following the likes of Running Back (American football), Hit the Spot (soccer/football), Puck Luck (ice hockey), Baseball Bash (baseball), Mini Golf Island (golf), Stadium Smash (cricket), Footy Flicks (Australian rules football), Punt Run (horse racing) and many more.
