Colossus jackpots to complement AmWager’s SIS data deal

Pool betting provider Colossus Bets will deliver AmWager with the “most advanced tote jackpot portfolio” to complement British greyhound racing content from SIS.

It was reported in July that SIS will provide AmWest Entertainment, the parent company of AmWager, with live streams and data from British tracks including Central Park, Crayford, Doncaster, Harlow, Henlow, Hove, Monmore and Romford, as well as Irish races from Cork,  Kilkenny, Limerick, Mullingar, Tralee, Waterford and Youghal.

The deal also dictated that AmWest Entertainment could accept bets into the recently launched SIS World Greyhound Tote Pool, the product of a commingling totalisator agreement between SIS and Sportech.

A few months on, it has been confirmed that Colossus Bets – having done a deal of their own with SIS – will provide the global pool with jackpots complete with minimum prize guarantees, Cash Out and Syndicates. These “mainstay features” will complement the existing SIS World Greyhound Tote Pool bet types such as Win, Place, Exacta and Trifecta.

Paul Witten, Product Director at SIS, said: “We are delighted that through our partnership with Colossus Bets, AmWager has become the first U.S. operator to incorporate Colossus’ innovative jackpots into SIS’s World Greyhound Tote Pool, so that its customers can benefit from this exciting new product.”

Colossus Bets CEO Bernard Marantelli added: “We are excited to have secured the first U.S. customer to take the most advanced tote jackpot portfolio from Colossus to complement SIS’s top-quality British greyhound racing content.”

Nelson Clemmens, CEO at AmWest Entertainment, concluded: “Securing Colossus’ innovative jackpots is a great addition to the SIS World Greyhound Tote Pool.

“We are confident that they will really enhance SIS’s top quality British and Irish greyhound racing for our customers and will prove to be a real revenue driver for our business.”
