Spectrum brings in former UK Gambling Commission executive
Spectrum Gaming Group has added Miller as an independent senior regulatory advisor.
The former UK Gambling Commission executive director and founder of GamReg Consulting brings more than 25 years of regulatory experience. He will support Spectrum’s government and regulatory clients on regulatory modernization, responsible gaming frameworks and policy development.
Miller spent more than a decade at the UK Gambling Commission, where he helped implement reforms following the UK government’s review of the Gambling Act. He also led the creation of the Gambling Survey for Great Britain and the development of the first National Strategy to Reduce Gambling Harms.
His international work includes serving on the board of the Gambling Regulators European Forum and supporting the U.S. National Council of Legislators from Gaming States in developing model internet gaming legislation.
“Tim’s UK and European experience will strengthen our advisory capabilities, supporting our global clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes,” said Spectrum Gaming Group COO Juliann Barreto.
