GeoComply continues to maintain relationships with some of the largest gambling operators in the country as the geolocation giant renews a partnership with FanDuel.

On Monday, the Vancouver-based company announced that it agreed to a multiyear deal to continue providing geolocation services to the Flutter-owned brand. FanDuel will also continue to leverage GeoComply’s identity verification solutions to streamline registration and security protocols. GeoComply’s services also combat fraudulent activity.

“GeoComply has been an important partner as we’ve built a platform our customers can trust,’ said FanDuel President Christian Genetski. “Our focus has always been on delivering a great customer experience while operating with the highest standards of integrity and compliance. We’re excited to continue working with GeoComply in the years ahead.”

What is involved in FanDuel, GeoComply deal

As part of the renewed deal, GeoComply is providing FanDuel with direct access to a team of engineers who will support the operator and deliver services in real time. FanDuel is continuing to trust GeoComply to power its geolocation and identity verification technology, with GeoComply reporting a 99.7% pass rate for FanDuel player checks.

According to data provided by GeoComply, the company processes approximately 2.5 billion checks a month across its entire portfolio of operator partners.

GeoComply’s services also have a 99% availability rate for peak player traffic periods.

“FanDuel and GeoComply have grown up together, from their first regulated state to nationwide scale. What’s been interesting is everything we’ve built together on top of those signals since: fraud and abuse detection, frictionless authentication, market insights. The kind of intelligence that is key to operators’ compliance at scale,” said GeoComply CEO Kip Levin.

GeoComply completes series of partnership renewals

FanDuel’s commitment to GeoComply adds to a growing list of partnership renewals for GeoComply as a solutions provider for some of the largest operators in North America.

In May, GeoComply expanded its existing partnership with Hard Rock Digital to provide new compliance solutions to Hard Rock Bet. The multiyear pact allows Hard Rock Bet to leverage GeoComply’s IDComply solution, an “all-in-one KYC/AML solution.”

GeoComply and DraftKings agreed to a partnership extension in June following the launch of DraftKings “super app” that houses multiple gaming verticals for the operator.

That same month, Caesars Entertainment announced a multiyear renewal of a contract with GeoComply. That deal includes Caesars online casino and sports betting operations and covers every regulated gaming market where the operator holds a gaming license.
