DraftKings will continue to utilize GeoComply’s suite of geolocation services and solutions for its gaming offerings on its new “super app”.
On Monday, the companies announced they have agreed to a partnership extension to allow the Boston-based gaming giant to keep using the Vancouver-based firm’s geolocation services and technology.
“The operators winning this next cycle are treating geolocation intelligence as critical trust infrastructure,” said GeoComply CEO Kip Levin. “DraftKings has done that for years. This extension reflects how seriously they take the architecture behind player trust—and it’s what lets them keep moving fast on everything else.”
In addition to geolocation services, DraftKings leverages GeoComply’s identity verification and fraud prevention solutions. In total, GeoComply processes roughly 2.5 billion checks a month across its portfolio of operator partners, which includes Caesars and Hard Rock.
Why are GeoComply’s services important to DraftKings?
GeoComply and DraftKings are extending their business relationship following the launch of DraftKings’ “super app” earlier this year. The product houses DraftKings’ online sportsbook, online casino, prediction market, and Jackpocket online lottery operations.
The app offers a single, consolidated account and wallet for players, while providing access to certain verticals on a state-by-state basis, including:
- Online sports betting in 26 states and Washington, D.C.
- DraftKings Predictions in 48 states
- Sports event contracts in 17 jurisdictions where DraftKings does not offer betting

Busy start to summer for GeoComply
GeoComply kicked off the second half of the year by extending partnerships with operators.
In May, GeoComply expanded its multiyear deal with Hard Rock Bet to provide geolocation, compliance, and fraud-prevention services. As part of the expanded partnership, GeoComply provides Hard Rock Bet with access to its IDComply solution.
The solution provides verification, KYC, and AML compliance protocols and email insights.
“Hard Rock Bet players expect a world-class experience from the moment they engage with us,” said Hard Rock Digital COO and Executive Managing Director Mike Primeaux. “By integrating identity verification, KYC, fraud signals, and geolocation compliance into a single platform, we have created a more seamless experience for our players.”
Earlier this month, GeoComply also agreed to expand its partnership with Caesars Entertainment to include the delivery of IDComply.
According to GeoComply’s own data, IDComply completes first-time customer verifications for operators at a pass rate of approximately 95%.
