MLB has agreed to extend its business relationships with MGM Resorts International and BetMGM, continuing partnerships that have served baseball fans for nearly a decade.

America’s oldest professional sports league announced on Tuesday the renewal of its partnerships with gaming and hospitality giant MGM Resorts and gambling brand BetMGM.

MGM Resorts and BetMGM have both agreed to multiyear extensions with MLB after first securing partnerships with the league in 2018. Since then, the three entities have collaborated to deliver branding and fan experiences in markets across North America.

“MGM Resorts and BetMGM have been great partners to baseball for nearly a decade,” said MLB CMO and Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships Uzma Rawn Dowler. “We’re excited to continue our relationship and together help create more unique experiences for our fans.”

The contract renewals allow MGM Resorts to remain MLB’s exclusive integrated resort and casino partner while continuing to bolster the reach of MLB marketing and events. The events include MLB Awards Week, which takes place in November 2026 in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, BetMGM will continue to leverage MLB’s reach for marketing. BetMGM’s partnership renewal allows the operator to continue advertising across several properties:

  • MLB Network
  • MLB.com
  • Apple TV
  • The league’s remaining digital portfolio

MLB to continue diversifying BetMGM Casino’s offerings

BetMGM and MLB will also continue to create online casino content. The two companies are developing MLB-themed online casino titles that will be delivered via BetMGM Casino.

“Major League Baseball offers one of the most engaging, data–rich experiences in sports, and this renewal underscores our shared commitment to innovation, integrity, and responsibility,” said BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost.

“Together, we’re enhancing how fans experience the game, from defining moments on the field to legendary experiences at marquee events like MLB All–Star Week.”

BetMGM is offering its players MLB-themed content after favorable online casino results in Q1 2026. The operator’s online casino business reported $481 million in revenue during the quarter. The results were a 9% uptick compared to the same period last year.

By comparison, BetMGM’s sports betting revenue closed at $203 million in Q1 2026.

MGM Resorts & BetMGM are also working with teams

BetMGM and its co-owner, MGM Resorts, have forged other partnerships across MLB. The two companies have a portfolio of partners throughout the league that also includes:

  • Boston Red Sox
  • Cincinnati Reds
  • Detroit Tigers
  • Houston Astros
  • Los Angeles Dodgers
  • New York Yankees
  • Philadelphia Phillies
  • Pittsburgh Pirates
  • Washington Nationals

The MLB Players Association is also solidifying a footprint in the gambling space. Most recently, the MLBPA agreed to licensing deals with Caesars Entertainment and Hard Rock Bet. The deals allow the operators to use official MLB imagery for sports betting.
