British operator bet365’s latest Gaming Insights and Performance report seeks to answer the question: Which online slots games are resonating most with U.S. customers?
Each month, the online sports betting and casino operator collects data from more than 20 global markets, where players can access more than 7,500 gaming titles. The European brand has solidified a footprint in America’s commercial gaming market, where it provides online casino gaming in several states that offer residents and visitors access to iGaming.
The markets include Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Most recently, bet365 expanded its reach in April by launching sports betting and casino operations in Michigan.
Outside the U.S., bet365 also collects online casino data from:
- Canada
- Brazil
- Germany
- Greece
- Spain
- U.K.
Bet365’s latest insights and performance report for May 2026 only includes online slot games. The operator does not include table games or live game data in the reports.
“Popularity is measured using an algorithm that takes into account metrics such as revenue, stakes, sessions and engagement,” reads bet365’s methodology for the report.
Design Works Gaming off to a hot start in Michigan
May marked bet365’s second month as an online casino operator in Michigan, and a new entry emerged as one of the most popular online slot titles in the Wolverine State.
ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways was the most popular online slot title in May, moving up one spot from its previous April ranking.
Notably, Design Works Gaming’s Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap title finished second in popularity as a new entry across bet365’s iGaming platform. The title is the latest iteration of the long-standing Piggy Payouts Bank Buster series which debuted in 2021. In addition to bet365, the series is also available at BetMGM, FanDuel Casino, and Caesars’ Tropicana Online Casino.
IGT’s Cash Eruption rounded out the top three for most popular online slot title in Michigan last month. The game maintained its results from bet365’s April report.
Two games make a significant jump in bet365’s rankings
Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap’s momentum carried over in New Jersey, with players in the Garden State making the game the most popular online slot title for May.
Meanwhile, AGS Gaming’s Liberty Diamond posted a meteoric rise in New Jersey last month, with the title jumping up 25 spots to close as the second most popular slot game.
Age of the Gods: Collect’ Em finished as the 10th most popular online slot game in New Jersey, but the Playtech title posted significant growth after closing as 48th in April.
bet365 newcomers leave their mark in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania emerged as an intriguing market for new slot games available on bet365.
Last month, four new online slot games on bet365 finished in the top 10 for most popular titles in the Keystone State. The group was led by Scruffy Duck, a title developed by NetEnt. Atomic Slot Lab’s Thunder Blitz was also in the top five as a new entry.
Bet365 will continue to provide the latest online casino data as the company continues to solidify a footprint in America’s online sports betting and iGaming markets.
