As it continues to expand its reach across U.S. online sports betting and casino, Hard Rock Bet has recruited more star power in the form of veteran Hollywood actor Matthew Broderick.
The star of ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off‘ and ‘The Producers‘ has been given top billing in the operator’s summer marketing campaign, titled “A Very Adult Son”.
The rollout includes multiple 30-second commercials that will span both Hard Rock Bet’s sports betting and online casino verticals across TV, radio, digital, and social media.
“As you get older, life has a way of becoming very responsible,” said Broderick of the promos. “Schedules, routines, all the things you’re supposed to do. This campaign reminds you it’s still okay to break from that once in a while. To surprise yourself a little. Have some fun. Let that inner rebel out for a change.”
Broderick also promoting historical NASCAR product
In Seminole Tribe-owned Hard Rock Digital’s flagship state of Florida, the Matthew Broderick campaign will also include Hard Rock Bet’s real-money gaming offered by Real Money Games and powered by Past Motor Racing.
Last year, Hard Rock Bet leaned on the tribal gaming compact between Florida and the Seminole Tribe to launch a new online sports betting product powered by historical NASCAR races.
A Hard Rock Bet spokesperson told SBC Americas that it is able to exclusively offer the slot-style product to Floridians because the gaming compact that establishes Seminole as the state’s exclusive online gambling operator allows wagering tied to historical sporting events.
The NASCAR product is part of Hard Rock Bet’s Games portfolio, which delivers slot-style games that operate in a similar manner to historical horse racing, an electronic wagering system that uses past horse races to generate outcomes in lieu of a random number generator.
Bueller is Hard Rock Digital’s latest celeb endorser
Matthew Broderick joins a growing roster of celebrities and athletes who rep Hard Rock Bet in one form or another.
The operator has previously launched commercials or other marketing materials featuring the likes of:
- Mike Tyson
- NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr.
- Golfer John Daly
- Metta World Peace
- Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin
- Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho
As well as the Matthew Broderick campaign, Hard Rock Bet has also rolled out new marketing featuring reality TV staple Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of ‘Jersey Shore‘ fame.
Hard Rock Bet operates in 10 states
In terms of more standard online casino, Hard Rock Bet Casino is currently operational in New Jersey and Michigan, having launched in the latter state’s iGaming market in late 2025. Versions of the Broderick campaign will roll out across both of those markets.
Michigan became Hard Rock Bet’s 10th regulated gaming market of some form. It also offers online sports betting in both New Jersey and Michigan, as well as:
