Wazdan is bolstering its presence in one of America’s regulated online casino markets with the help of Caesars Entertainment.
The Malta-based iGaming developer announced a partnership with Caesars Entertainment to supply online casino content in West Virginia. Wazdan will leverage Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform to deliver iGaming content to Caesars’ portfolio of online platforms, which includes Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino. Wazdan is providing West Virginians with access to a portfolio of online casino games that includes the company’s popular 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition and Hot Slot: 777 Crown titles. Wazdan is also allowing players in the Mountain State to take advantage of its gaming mechanics and unique offerings, including Hold the Jackpot.
“Launching with Caesars Entertainment in West Virginia is a fantastic achievement for our team and a pivotal moment in our U.S. strategy,” said Wazdan CCO Andrzej Hyla. “Caesars is one of the most recognizable names in gaming and bringing our top titles to their online casino brands, via Light & Wonder, allows us to further broaden our reach while delivering the innovative experiences players have come to expect from Wazdan.”
Wazdan solidified a footprint in West Virginia in 2021 after being awarded an interim supplier license in the state. The certification allowed Wazdan to establish a presence in North America before delivering online casino content to operators in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Wazdan is also a licensed supplier in Greece and Belarus.
In addition to Caesars, Wazdan has content supplier agreements in West Virginia with DraftKings and Fanatics Casino.
Online casino brands invest in West Virginia
Wazdan expanded its reach in West Virginia as other content providers invest in the state.
Earlier this week, White Hat Studios reached an agreement with Delaware North to deliver online casino content. The deal allows White Hat Studios to supply online casino games to Delaware North’s online casino and sports betting brand, Betly. White Hat Studios is providing Betly with access to its portfolio of online casino offerings.
White Hat Studios also has a content distribution agreement in West Virginia with Caesars.
The New York-based company has a presence in all seven of America’s online casino markets. White Hat Studios also provides online casino content to players across Ontario. The slot content provider recently made its first foray into land-based gaming, securing a content distribution deal in May with end-to-end technology supplier Gaming Arts.
