FanDuel and its affiliated media rights holder are working together to enhance the viewership experience for basketball and hockey fans.

The Flutter-owned brand and Main Street Sports Group, the owner of FanDuel Sports Network, teamed up to launch a new interactive integration for NBA and NHL games. The integration, Bet Tracking, allows FanDuel users to follow their active NBA and NHL wagers while watching games on FanDuel Sports Network. Bet Tracking debuted in select markets and is powered by FanDuel’s account-linking system, providing users with data and statistics to track active wagers in real time through FanDuel Sports Network broadcasts.

“The integration of Bet Tracking into live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network represents another significant milestone in our partnership and our commitment to delivering an unparalleled viewing experience to fans,” said FanDuel President of Sports Mike Raffensperger.

Bet Tracking initially launched on FanDuel Sports Network for NBA broadcasts of five teams, which include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies. Its coverage extends to four NHL team broadcasts with plans to expand the offering to other NBA and NHL markets.

As of Dec. 16, Bet Tracking is available for NHL broadcasts for the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Rings and Nashville Predators.

“Over the past year, our partnership with FanDuel Sports Network has elevated our brand presence, deepened engagement across our products and proven the impact of combining live local sports with interactive technology,” added Raffensperger. “We look forward to continuing this successful partnership and exploring new ways to collaborate in the future as we remain committed to driving innovation at the intersection of sports entertainment and betting.”

FanDuel caters to NBA fans

FanDuel is providing real-time wager tracking for select NBA teams after securing a multi-year partnership with Amazon in September to provide the e-commerce company with live odds for NBA and WNBA games aired on Prime Video. The partnership allows Prime Video account holders to link their existing FanDuel accounts to follow active wagers and stats.

The opt-in feature does not offer the ability to place wagers directly on Prime Video.

New innovations for FanDuel

FanDuel continued to diversify its offerings in November with the launch of Pass the Leg, a parlay-building product that allows multiple users to combine and create a group parlay.

The operator launched the product for the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day games, allowing users to build of parlay of between three and 25 legs from a single state or multiple markets.

FanDuel only made the product available for Thanksgiving Day and has yet to announce plans to relaunch the offering. FanDuel launched new integrations for major sports leagues as it prepares to enter the prediction market space through a deal with CME Group.
