British data and analytics company PlayAIO shared with SBC Americas its latest monthly online casino visibility data, providing operators and key stakeholders in the gaming industry with insights into the content that resonates with players across the country.
PlayAIO deploys its Rank IQ Engine to collect the latest visibility data from major operators across America’s seven regulated online casino markets. Rank IQ leverages AI and machine learning to measure visibility and month-by-month trends of gaming data. The data provides accurate indicators of how position influences content performance.
In October, PlayAIO’s data showed the resurgence of an online casino title that was once the highest-ranked game for visibility but momentarily lost momentum.
Cash Eruption returns to visibility dominance
IGT’s online casino title Cash Eruption returned to the top of the national visibility rankings in October after a brief decline attributed to the non-exclusive tag being removed from Light & Wonder’s Huff N More Puff title. Cash Eruption return to the top spot behind the scale of its market penetration and the legacy of its franchise. PlayAIO collects data from more than 14 operators, with Cash Eruption appearing 1,917 times in October.
The operators include BetMGM, DraftKings and FanDuel.
“This level of coverage significantly exceeds the typical series presence within the industry and highlights the franchise’s sustained commercial strength and its resonance with both operators and players,” PlayAIO CEO Joshua Gibbs told SBC Americas.
Light & Wonder’s Huff N Puff franchise is still going strong
Huff N More Puff dropped from the ranking as the most visible online casino title, but the franchise is continuing to garner interest with its continued expansion across the U.S.
Light & Wonder’s latest title in the franchise, Huff N Puff Money Mansion, is poised to compete with Cash Eruption with operators, including FanDuel, making strong efforts to promote the game. PlayAIO projects the title to compete as another title in the franchise, Huff N Lots More Puff, closed as the top title in FanDuel’s top 10 games category last month.
“The extent to which Huff N Puff Money Mansion converts early promotional visibility into broader market traction will become clearer in the November reporting cycle,” continued Gibbs.
Games Global and AGS also had strong visibility rates for their titles throughout October.
Rakin’ Bacon, supplied by AGS, averaged 15 ranked days across six operators, while Games Global’s Devil Cash Uncovered title was ranked for seven days across three operators. Devil Cash Uncovered was not previously ranked for visibility before October.

An annual holiday drives momentum for visibility
In October, horror-themed games increased in visibility thanks to Halloween. Last month, six out of the 20 top-ranked games for visibility featured Halloween or horror themes. The data showcases an affinity for branded content based on factors outside of gaming.
New and exclusive games find their footing
Several new games carved out a position in the visibility rankings, solidifying the competitive nature of the online casino business. The new titles resonated with bettors behind new innovative features, including jackpots. Suppliers that had new titles in the visibility rankings include White Hat Studios, Evolution, AGS, Games Global and Light & Wonder. Games Global’s Devil Cash Uncovered was the top new title for visibility.

The exclusivity of a title also impacts visibility and can provide insights into how a title may be perceived by bettors. Several of Light & Wonder’s exclusive titles garnered strong interest before their mass release, with FanDuel’s Huff N Lost of Puff closing as the most visible title. BetRivers also benefited from its exclusive Light & Wonder Lion Link Zhen Chan game. PENN’s Hollywood Casino also favorable visibility for its exclusive, Legendary Larry. Bragg Gaming also caught the eyes of bettors with its Hard Rock Horizon game. The exclusive Hard Rock Bet title finished as the ninth-ranked title for visibility.

In October, Cash Eruption was the most visible title nationwide, but in West Virginia and New Jersey, Huff ‘N Even More Puff closed with the highest ranking. In Michigan and Pennsylvania, Cash Eruption was the most visible title.
