Sparket is expanding its reach in the skill games sector by collaborating with a new studio.

The customizable B2B platform announced a partnership with Toast, a gaming studio that specializes in developing skill-based, real-money games for the online casino industry.

That partnership allows Toast to deliver its multiplayer gaming platform to Sparket players while also bolstering its portfolio of partners through the California-based B2B company.

“Skill-based, real-money gaming is a $6 billion market in the U.S. alone, growing fast with legal clarity in over 40 states,” said Toast co-founder Jatin Narang. “Toast is giving operators games that users love and keep coming back to. We believe Toast will propel the iGaming industry to the next level.”

Sparket kicked off the partnership by offering players the opportunity to play 21 Hustle, a Toast-developed title that serves as a live, peer-to-peer version of blackjack. The game allows players to compete against one another in real-time compared to against the house.

“We’re excited to launch Toast’s peer-to-peer skill games on our platform,” said Sparket CEO Aaron Basch. “We wanted to find new ways to engage with our users, giving them more reasons to stay on our site and help us generate new revenue. Toast’s skill games will help us do both.”

Toast also delivered other titles to Sparket, which include Gin Rummy and Pinfall. Gin Rummy provides players with a two-player variant of Rummy, while Pinfall is a skill-based game that resembles Plinko, which garnered popularity as a The Price is Right contest.

Toast is continuing to develop new games, including a strategy-based basketball title. To date, it has raised $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Sparket’s growing business

Toast adds to a growing list of partners for Sparket, which also includes PENN.

Last year, PENN and Sparket secured a deal allowing Sparket to provide its social betting technology to PENN Play Casino. The proprietary technology, the Social Betwork, combines wagering and community allowing for increased player engagement for PENN.

Sparket is also a partner of Soboba Casino Resort, landing a deal with the casino to launch a free-to-play sports wagering product. The product, Soboba Sports, is powered by Sparket’s Social Betwork and is also backed by gaming giant Aristocrat Digital.

Sparket established a footprint in the sweepstakes sector by partnering with Sportzino to launch FunPicks, a sweepstakes product that marks its first foray into the category.

Sparket also has deals with Casino Pauma, Nevada’s Station Casinos, WagerWire, Xpoint and BetBook. Its investors include former NBA star Metta Sandiford-Artest.
