Soboba Casino Resort is leveraging the services of a pari-mutuel social betting system.
The California-based casino has released Soboba Sports, a free-to-play sports wagering product powered by Sparket’s Social Betwork software. Sparket, a customizable B2B platform that offers F2P and pay-to-play betting, will deploy its proprietary pool wagering system into Soboba Sports, which is also backed by Aristocrat Digital.
Soboba Sports is available to players on the casino’s recently launched Soboba App.
“Sparket is focused on offering tribal casino partners a platform to help drive user acquisition and engagement through sports and live event promotions,” said Sparket COO Evan Fisher. “Southern California is filled with passionate sports fans and we’re excited to partner with innovative properties such as Soboba to bring an exciting experience to their patrons.”
Members of Soboba’s reward program are able to immediately redeem benefits while using Soboba Sports. The product allows members to place virtual coin-based wagers on events.
Soboba Sports bolsters the casino’s offerings as a place known for its retail operations. Soboba Casino Resort has a casino floor that features more than 2,000 slot machines and 35 table games. Its resort is home to 200 guest rooms and suites and a golf course.
Sparket is gaining traction
Sparket has a portfolio of partners that includes WagerWire, Xpoint, BetBook, and the Indian Gaming Association. Last December, the company received a strategic investment from two-time NBA All-Defensive First Team honoree Metta Sandiford-Artest, also known as Metta World Peace. Sparket received the fresh injection of capital through Metta World Peace’s holdings company Artest Management Group.
The B2B platform has also integrated its services into Station Casinos across Nevada.
