DraftKings is providing account holders with a new responsible gaming product.
The Boston-based operator announced on Monday the launch of My Budget Builder, a tool allowing account holders to set customized spending limits and reminders. DraftKings is making the product available across its portfolio of platforms, including its online casino and DFS offerings. The tool is also available for DraftKings peer-to-peer Pick6 offering.
“My Budget Builder is a new kind of responsible gaming tool—intuitive, proactive, and personalized,” said DraftKings Chief Responsible Gaming Officer Lori Kalani. “It reflects our ongoing commitment to creating fun, enjoyable environments for our players. By enhancing how players engage with limit-setting, we are providing another resource that players can use to help them play responsibly.”
My Budget Builder is available on both DraftKings’ app and website with features allowing for seamless integration into online wagering. The tool allows users to establish a maximum wager size and loss limits. The tool also monitors time spent, entries and fees.
DraftKings is bolstering its RG efforts after launching the My Stat Sheet tool last year.
My Stat Sheet allows DraftKings users to track their personal wagering stats allowing players to make data-driven decisions about their play. The tool provides users with account information including deposits, withdrawals and win/loss records.
DraftKings launched My Budget Builder after being recognized for its RG efforts last month by being ranked No. 1 for overall RG performance by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming.
ESPN Bet closed second with Fanatics rounding out the top three for RG performance.
DraftKings competitor launches RG tool
Last December, FanDuel launched My Spend as a tool that allows its customers to track their spending habits and provide enhanced oversight of budgeting. My Spend includes a dashboard that provides access to FanDuel’s suite of RG tools, including wager limits.
My Spend is available across FanDuel’s entire portfolio of products.
FanDuel reported that nearly half of its customers used the My Spend dashboard throughout the 2024 NFL season. The operator had approximately 3.5 million FanDuel customers use My Spend to gain insights about their wagering activity and spending habits.
