FanDuel is aiming to bettor help its customers manage their gaming with the launch of a new responsible gambling user dashboard.
The operator has unveiled My Spend, a new tool designed to help customers track spending patterns and gain greater oversight of their budget. Customers can view personal stats including amounts deposited and net winnings over certain periods of time, ranging from seven days to three months.
The My Spend dashboard also encourages customers to utilize FanDuel’s existing suite of responsible gaming tools, including deposit and wager limits.
The Flutter-owned operator said in a release that the service was developed based on internal and external research that showed players were interested in gaining personalized insights into their activity and a deeper understanding of their own behavior.
FanDuel is supporting the launch with a new advertising campaign that encourages customers to use the dashboard and stay on top of their spending and budget habits. The new commercials will air in both English and Spanish across television, digital and paid social.
“FanDuel believes our customers should always have a budget and plan in mind when they engage with our products, and we are thrilled to introduce My Spend to help customers track their spending and manage their play,” said FanDuel VP of Responsible Gaming and Community Impact, Alison Kutler.
“As we look to continuously raise the standard for what it means to be a responsible operator, we look forward to continuing to bring new and innovative ways support our customers.”
My Spend is available across all FanDuel products, including sportsbook, casino, fantasy, racing and faceoff.
FanDuel continues to broaden RG offerings
The new user dashboard is FanDuel’s latest move to expand its responsible gambling services in its markets.
In September, to mark Responsible Gaming Education Month, it launched a new program, Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting, which aims to equip trusted adults such as parents, guardians and coaches with tools and resources to talk to young people about gambling, associated risks, how to recognize warning signs and where to go for support.
The program’s content was created in consultation with gambling harm prevention firm EPIC Global Solutions. It is part of a partnership between FanDuel and former NBA player and basketball coach Randy Livingston and his wife, sports agent Anita Smith, who are now members of FanDuel’s RG Ambassador Program.
FanDuel also announced it is expanding its relationship with Kindbridge Behavioral Health to extend a pilot program that provides self-excluding individuals with direct access to comprehensive mental health assessments and group support services across all jurisdictions in which FanDuel is operational.
