PokerStars’ Vegas Infinite offering is now available as an iPhone app, broadening its reach and its potential user audience.
The free-to-play social casino features cash, tournament and Spin & Go poker, as well as blackjack, roulette, craps, slots and more. It had previously only been available on mobile to Android users since May 2024, as well as via other platforms like Meta Quest and Steam.
Vegas Infinite differs from other non-real-money social poker and online casino products by offering a virtual 3D world. Its account play offers cross-progression, allowing players to save their progress across different platforms, and cross-play, meaning that players can play casino games with friends on different devices at the same time.
Players also have access to a range of in-game safety tools including the option to take time out from games, set spending alerts, issue player reports and customize their play and their social interactions with other users.
“Vegas Infinite is about connecting players for a truly social virtual casino experience,” said James O’Reilly, Director of Disruptive Innovation at PokerStars. “Over the last year, we’ve launched on Steam for PC, Android for mobile, and PS5 for console, augmenting a lineup that already included Meta Quest for VR and MR, Steam for VR and PlayStation for PS VR2.
“With the addition of iOS, we’re welcoming a whole new group of players and thanks to cross-play and cross-progression, everyone can seamlessly enjoy Vegas Infinite wherever they are and on the device that works for them.”
Ultimately owned and operated by PokerStars owner Flutter, Vegas Infinite first launched in 2018 as a virtual reality experience on Meta Quest and Steam. It added a virtual reality edition for PlayStation VR2 in April 2023 and went live on PC later last year. The mobile version for Android followed in May 2024 and in July, the game debuted on PlayStation 5.
