BetMGM is taking another spin at sponsoring a week of Wheel of Fortune episodes.
After the operator and the long-running TV show celebrated Big Money Week in May, the two parties are renewing their partnership for the BetMGM Big Winners Tournament scheduled to air Sept. 30 to Oct. 4.
Starting on Monday, Sept. 30 and running for four days, a daily BetMGM-sponsored progressive jackpot will start at $5,000 per episode and increase with each spin. Daily jackpots will contribute to a cumulative tournament jackpot which will be played for by the contestant from each of the Monday to Thursday shows who makes it to Friday’s bonus round. If a contestant in Friday’s episode can solve the bonus puzzle to win the final bonus round, they will win the grand prize.
BetMGM will also be reintroducing the classic Free Spin token.
BetMGM branding will be integrated into the Big Winners Tournament, including featuring co-branded graphics displayed in the center monitor, in-show displays of BetMGM’s logo on host Ryan Seacrest’s monitor and a BetMGM jackpot ticker above the puzzle board.
BetMGM is also bringing back Wheel of Fortune contestant Tavaris Williams, who went viral during Big Money Week for guessing that the solution to the puzzle _ _ _ _ /I _ /T _ E /B _ _ T! was “right in the butt.”
BetMGM, Wheel of Fortune continue to spin off
The second week-long on-screen sponsorship continues the association between BetMGM and Wheel of Fortune.
The two brands first collaborated along with IGT in March 2023 to launch Wheel of Fortune Online Casino, North America’s first brand-led online casino in March 2023.
Earlier this year, in April, BetMGM launched the new Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin slot in collaboration with IGT. The offering went live on BetMGM Casino, Borgata Online and Wheel of Fortune Casino across BetMGM’s North American iGaming markets: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ontario.
BetMGM’s mobile and desktop users in those jurisdictions can also spin the Wheel of Fortune Big Money Wheel daily for a chance at casino bonuses, bonus spins, a Wheel of Fortune Studio tour or $5,000.
