Off the back of a fascinating Episode 1 of the Cloud Control Series last month, SBC Webinars, Computacenter and Amazon Web Services (AWS) continue to show the igaming world the power of the cloud in three logical steps.
Episode 2 ‘Making New Market Expansion Simple’ will air live today, October 21 at 16:00 BST/11:00 Eastern. This second installment will compound on the introduction to the power and potential of cloud computing, by explaining how forward-thinking gaming companies can utilise the cloud to develop and deliver new, high-quality products faster, and in doing so, ease the process of expanding into new markets.
In Episode 1, entitled ‘Gaining Cloud Insights and Control’, the expert panel delivered Computacenter’s and William Hill’s insight into how igaming businesses can fully understand and control the costs of their infrastructure using public cloud.
In Episode 2, ‘Making New Market Expansion Simple’, Computacenter and AWS will attempt to take the cloud understanding a step further, and explain how operators such as FanDuel have used cloud technology to greater drive customer loyalty, and ease new market expansion.
The panel comprises Nick Jones (Client Director, Computacenter); Luis Martinez Arnal (Technical Architect, Computacenter); and Lee James (Head of Solution Architecture, Strategic Accounts – EMEA, AWS); along with special guest Shane Sweeney (VP of IT, FanDuel Group).
Hosted and moderated by SBC Managing Director Andrew McCarron, it will discuss new market expansion through the lens of the public cloud, and get to the bottom of questions and talking points such as:
- What are the biggest challenges of developing software?
- How can you best understand app dependencies and assess technical feasibility?
- How can you overcome challenges around licensing, security and regulation?
- How can AWS Outposts and DC Divest (Computacenter’s cost-effective data center solution) accelerate your cloud journey?
