With college football technically underway and NFL kick off around the corner, Rush Street Interactive is rolling out revisions to its iRush Rewards program for customers using its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse online platforms.
“As a player-first operator, we listened to our players’ feedback and made improvements,” said Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz. “Since RSI’s inception we’ve prioritized player retention. With our extremely fast growth in new customers over the past few years, it was imperative we continue to invest in new player benefits and creative ways to add value to our player experience re-affirming our philosophy to always put players first.”
The new system will feature tiered Gold, Platinum and Black levels. Once a player achieves a tier, they will retain that status for at least six months.
Players can earn three types of points as well. The points include Loyalty Points, Bonus Store Points and Tier Points.
Users can earn points based on what type of online casino game they are playing. They can also earn points for sports bets, with added points for same game parlays. Bettors earn points for each leg of an SGP.
BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse customers can also view their rewards activity on an updated rewards interface within the app.
Rush Street avoiding surcharges and customer expenses
Earlier this month, Schwartz and Rush Street proactively released an announcement that the brand will never implement a surcharge on customer bets. As he did in regards to the new iRush updates, Schwartz cited the company’s commitment so customers as the reason behind the decision.
Schwartz did note that the company are cutting back on affiliate spending and marketing to help address high-tax markets such as the company’s home state of Illinois.
With tweaks to the rewards program that incentivize high hold wagers like SGPs, Rush Street can also help to boost bottom lines without transferring the expense over to customers.
