Racing company 1/ST, British racing group Arena Racing Company (ARC), British media rights company Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and Australian wagering and entertainment firm Tabcorp have formed a new strategic alliance to create a worldwide racing hub.

The new collaboration creates a network of rights holders that will distribute content across multiple international markets. Global and local operators will be able to choose from an array of bespoke racing video, data and wagering solutions in an all-in-one tool product. The companies say the new offering will give racing bettors easier access to additional content and services.

The companies will deliver curated, localized solutions that speak to audiences’ respective wagering preferences. The ultimate aim is to provide a 24/7 schedule across varied time zones, offering customers worldwide a reliable source of fast-settling betting content for primetime and off-peak slots.

Aidan Butler, president of 1/ST, said the alliance will deliver, “an all-encompassing one-stop-shop for 24/7 international racing that effortlessly fits into any time-zone, country or region.”

“Customers will be able to enjoy access to a complete service hub which will enable our betting partners to deliver a best-in-breed product to their consumers at any time of the day, every day,” added Brendan Parnell, managing director of media and international at ARC. “The strength of our data and wagering technology, coupled with a depth of 24/7 broadcast and video streaming rights, places this newly-created alliance in the vanguard of driving growth and diversified revenues for the horse and greyhound racing sector.”

Paul Carew, chief operating officer at Tabcorp, added that the experience will “combine our premium racing content from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates with the best racing from the United Kingdom and North America to create a service that will deliver a first-class racing experience to a new audience.”

“This is an excellent illustration of different racing jurisdictions innovating together to create new products and services to grow access and interest in horse racing around the world,” added Martin Stevenson, CEO of RMG.

1/ST had first partnered with Tabcorp last November to launch a portfolio of racing content on Tabcorpo’s platform which is used to power pari-mutuel betting and fixed-odds wagering.

1/ST powering bet365 U.S. racing product

1/ST struck a major partnership earlier this year when it was announced in March that it had partnered with bet365 to power the sportsbook’s U.S. horse racing offerings.

The company’s technology helped to launch bet365’s Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) on horse racing in U.S. jurisdictions where ADW is legal. The ADW option uses AI-assisted tools to analyze the current horseracing market as players deposit funds into their accounts, presenting data such as past performance and results and suggested selections for players based on AI algorithms.

1/ST BET, the firm’s wagering operation, is the official betting platform of racing venues and events including Santa Anita Park, Golden Gate Fields and the Preakness Stakes. 1/ST TECHNOLOGY’s suite includes the XpressbetMonarch Content Management and AmTote International brands that are currently operating at North American venues including Saratoga Race CourseBelmont ParkAqueduct and Woodbine.
