SB22 has penned a deal with PICO, a subsidiary of ByteDance, to collaborate on entertainment solutions using the VR22 virtual reality platform.
PICO is a manufacturer of virtual reality headset devices and will utilize the VR22 platform to create new and innovative experiences for users.

The collaboration will see PICO headsets leverage the VR22 platform as well as SB22’s knowledge of the sports entertainment space to create new and engaging VR content.
Both parties are aiming to cater to sports fans and gaming enthusiasts and will focus on creating immersive and interactivity in their product development as part of the partnership.
PICO is a subsidiary of ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, offering SB22 a significant opportunity to grow in the entertainment industry.

SB22 has rolled out its sports betting platform in the last 12 months since launching in 2022, partnering with companies such as nVenue, XtremePush and ZingSports to bolster its presence in the US.
Meanwhile, it has hired experienced executives such as ex-FanDuel Keith Wall to help raise its profile in the sportsbook supplier space. This latest move with PICO hints that SB22 is not only focused on supplying sportsbook software, but seeks to break into the wider sports entertainment industry.
