Sports Gambling Podcast Network has launched a new podcast focusing on offering content and insights into the FIFA World Cup, which kicks off this weekend.

Following a spate of growth in recent months, which has seen a record-breaking September across multiple platforms, SGPN will deliver The World Cup Gambling Podcast to provide betting picks and analysis ahead of what is being tipped to be the largest soccer wagering event in US history.

The podcast will be hosted by Malcolm Bamford, who will break down the game winners and totals along with other tournament insights throughout the event.

Bamford will also explore other betting options to help users find ‘easy money’ during the tournament with hundreds of betting markets available to bet on.

“Our sponsors and advertisers invest in our audience size and then find additional value in the response from our followers, who connect their products favorably to SGPN and its unbeatable value proposition of great information and guidance at no cost,” said Sean Green, Co-Founder and CEO.

The sports betting industry has been eagerly awaiting the beginning of the World Cup, highly anticipated throughout the year as a Q4 money maker.

With the US, Canada and Mexico all featuring in the tournament, and set to jointly host the 2026 edition, there is a growing appetite for soccer wagering.

Research published by the American Gaming Association this week found that 20.5 million Americans plan to wager a total of $1.8bn on the tournament.

Another survey, commissioned by BettorOff, found that 49% of self-described sports fans planned to bet on the tournament, 18% of which will be betting on soccer for the very first time.

The launch of a World Cup podcast comes at the end of a successful period for SGPN, after revealing that its strategy of creating short-form video content has reaped rewards, growing seven-fold in three-months and anticipating total views of 750,000 before the end of the year.

“We’ve found the short-form video to be a sweet spot because it enables us to provide the sports gambling content in an efficiently entertaining way as we cover sports news as it relates to betting the games,” added Ryan Kramer, Co-Founder of SGPN.

“This time of year is crazy with all the action.  We’re proud of the depth and frequency of the content we produce.”
