Optimove, an igaming CRM marketing solution, has launched a new benchmark tool ahead of the World Cup called ‘World Cup Pulse’ to help operators compare data during the event.

World Cup Pulse provides marketing teams with access to daily industry-wide benchmarks and KPIs in real-time for the first time during the world’s biggest soccer tournament, offering visibility into the industry by country.

The new tool is free of charge to everyone and is based on the aggregation of anonymous data collected from over 100 sports gaming brands, allowing operators to perform comparative analyses and discover performance insight against industry averages.

“The time when operators stumble in the dark uncertain how they measure up against the industry is over,” commented Motti Colman, Senior Director of Sales at Optimove.

“This is an unprecedented World Cup in terms of the total number of matches, timing, and location. Understanding how behavior changes daily is more important than ever as operators attempt to navigate uncharted waters in a one-of-a-kind World Cup.”

World Cup Pulse offers statistically significant data from the tournament and compares it to a static baseline from June 2022 when no other major soccer events occurred, giving operators a view of how big events such as the World Cup impacts player behavior.

The KPIs available on the new tool include: average bet amount per sports bettor; bet amount distribution by bet (live or pre-match); bet amount distribution by channel; retention rate; reactivation rate; and conversion rate

Colman added: “For the first time in World Cup history, operators, previously limited to their own data, can stop the guessing game and easily access industry statistically valid insights and benchmarks like never before, allowing them to make data-driven decisions in real-time.”

Last month, Optimove Founder & CEO Pini Yakuel explained to SBC Americas how prioritizing personalization is key to World Cup marketing success.
