GeoComply has launched its GeoComply Chargeback Integrator (GCI) with Resorts Digital Gaming in New Jersey to help combat credit card chargebacks.

GCI combines the geolocation and anti-fraud specialist’s “compliance-grade geolocation data and analytics with a direct integration to submit and follow chargeback representments,” utilizing Accertify’s portal into the merchant acquirers and payment networks.

“We are delighted to pioneer this industry-first solution and to do our bit to raise the bar ever higher against fraud,” commented Ed Andrewes, CEO of Resorts Digital Gaming.

“Working with GCI is a positive step in the right direction and will automate what is often a too manual and time-consuming process and, of course, save us a significant amount of money.”

A Compelling Evidence Report will be produced by GCI automatically when a customer disputes a transaction, pinpointing the device that placed the bet and from where to help operators “boost chargeback dispute success rate by up to 80%”.

“Chargebacks have grown exponentially over the past year and are eating into operators’ profit margins,” added Mahmoud El Shennawy, Director of Business Development at GeoComply.

“GCI will boost the bottom line and improve operators’ relationships with credit card companies.”

Last month, GeoComply was issued a conditional license by the Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) to supply its geolocation and ID verification compliance services in the state.
