Internet gaming SaaS firm GAN has announced a partnership with free-to-play sports game provider Chalkline to improve its customer acquisition and retention mechanisms.

Under the provisions of the partnership, Chalkline will deliver its BetterGames platform to GAN and its clients, providing a full suite of free-to-play games to boost player engagement.

Joann Pierce, VP of Sales & Operations for GAN, commented: “The addition of live odds freeplay sports games is a further step forward for our industry-leading product offering.

“It offers sports bettors in any state the ability to participate in their favorite sporting events with the added benefit of full integration with a rewards program. Chalkline’s experience and roots in customer acquisition for casinos and sportsbooks make this partnership optimal for our clients.”

Chalkline’s free-to-play games come with a live odds feature for big betting events such as football, basketball, golf, and combat sports, as well as both pre-match and live experience formats.

The freeplay provider designs its games with a focus on customer acquisition and increasing player engagement and will integrate across clients’ owned, earned, and paid marketing channels.

All games in the suite also come with backing from Chalklines’ proprietary partner BetterBI, ensuring engagement around personalization and localization data points.

Daniel Kustelski, CEO of Chalkline, added: “We’re thrilled to enter this partnership with GAN. GAN is one of the most well-known and respected brands in the industry, and this fits perfectly into a rapidly evolving gaming landscape for casinos and their patrons.

“Players love big sporting events, casinos see more and more footfall during these events, and freeplay games build loyalty while delivering an engaging fan experience.”

GAN also launched on the newly regulated igaming of Ontario this week, bringing its GameSTACK tech platform to support its PAM system.

Furthermore, its B2C arm Coolebet launched on day one of the market going live after receiving regulatory approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Anders Karlsen, President, B2C of GAN, stated: “The team is thrilled to bring the award-winning Coolbet offering to sports fans in Canada. We look forward to our partnership with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to bring gaming to this exciting new market so that players can enjoy a safe, fun and legal playing experience.”
