Parleh Media Group, a digital media company specializing in sports betting content, has partnered with Grabyo to produce a series of sports betting shows for the Canadian market.

Ontario igaming is now live following its launch earlier today, allowing for residents to legally place wagers on sporting events with licensed operators. The Canadian province is expected to be one of the biggest igaming markets in North America.

Parleh is looking to be a “leading sports media platform and a key partner to sportsbooks” in the Canadian market. Its pool of talent already creates video content that achieves more than three million views per month across its website, social channels, and media partners.

Based in Toronto with an all-remote production team, the platform will use Grabyo Producer – a cloud-based live control room – to produce daily shows featuring sports betting tips and odds before games.

With Grabyo’s native integrations, Parleh can distribute shows live to all its social media channels and its website.

“Working with Grabyo will allow us to scale and leverage this incredible opportunity not only for us, but for Canadian sportsbooks,” commented Mark Silver, CEO and Founder of Parleh Media Group.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We need to be agile and flexible in the way we produce content, and speed to market and volume matters. We have been very strategic in identifying the right technology partners to help us on this journey, and Grabyo stood out as the one we needed.”

Parleh is also able to scale up its VOD and real-time clip distribution by using Grabyo Studio to deliver real-time clips and compositions to their social channels and media syndication partners, monetizing clips through advertising on those platforms.

The platform hopes the simplification of its video production workflow in the cloud via Grabyo will allow it to continue scaling its video output, deliver real-time content, and “position its brand at the forefront of Canadian sports media without the need to build an expensive, hardware-based production studio”.

Mike Kelley, President of Americas, Grabyo, added: “We’re excited to be supporting Parleh in its mission of leading the sports betting content market in Canada. It reinforces our mission and shows the potential of cloud video production, when put in the hands of talented content teams.

“The unlimited scalability of our platform aligns perfectly with the aims of The Parleh, and we can’t wait to see how they capitalize on the growth of this dynamic market.”

Earlier this year, Parley Media agreed to a partnership with Quarter4, an AI-powered predictive sports data and analytics provider for media, affiliates, and betting platforms. Parleh will use Quarter4’s data analysis for The Parleh daily betting picks videos.
