Desert Diamond Casinos will hold a grand celebration to mark the opening of its new Tucson sportsbook and bar, just in time for the college basketball finals.

Located at Nogales Highway, the event will feature a free autograph signing session by retired NFL players as customers are invited to visit the refurbished site.

Marking the grand opening of the full-scale sportsbook, a free autograph session with former NFL players Chris Hale, Rodney Peete, and Christian Okoye will take place from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.

The sportsbook endured a soft launch in February before a month-long refurbishment project went underway to create a full-scale sports bar, offering customers American food and great drink specials while watching the games on big-screen TVs and betting on those sports.

Treena Parvello, Director of Government & Public Relations for the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise, commented: “Our new Sportsbook & Bar is the perfect place for fans to watch the games and place your bets. As a locally operated sportsbook, we’re proud of the personalized service we offer our guests and the new sports bar gives us even more opportunities to impress.”

The site’s sportsbook will be open from 10am-10pm daily, and the digital sports betting kiosks are available 24/7 for those aged 21 and above.
