Slot developer Blueprint Gaming has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to supply games to multiple operators in Ontario.

GamblingGuy, an operator comparison site, will also be launching its website in the Canadian province to help players find the right operator for them in the busy marketplace.

When the Ontario igaming market goes live on April 4, over 50 of Blueprint’s games – including The Goonies, Ted, and Sausage Party – will be made available to operators and players. The developer will also adapt its Deal or No Deal games to fit Canada’s equivalent show Le Banquier.

Alongside its games, Blueprint will also offer an updated version of its Jackpot King progressive jackpot system, rebranded as Jackpot Royale, which has been adjusted to meet the requirements and liquidity of the various Canadian provinces. It can be activated from any spin within Blueprint games that feature the functionality. Once triggered, players enter the Wheel King game mode, where they have the chance to claim one of three progressive jackpots.

Jo Purvis, Director of Key Accounts and Marketing UK at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Ontario has the potential to become one of the biggest igaming markets in North America, so being able to service the province from day one is a hugely important move for the company.

“Players in Canada already enjoy our style of games and we have strong expectations for the market. We’re looking forward to bringing our content to a much wider audience.”

As previously mentioned, GamblingGuy is also launching its website in Ontario ahead of the market’s igaming market going live, offering bettors Ontario-focused operator reviews, betting guides, and coverage of bonuses and special offers.

The platform will help provide bettors with clarity amidst the newly-bustling marketplace thanks to its experienced team that has served players in Australia, the US, and Germany.

Peter Rostowski, GamblingGuy Product Owner, stated: “We at GamblingGuy have taken considerable time to ensure we are prepped and ready for the launch of Ontario’s new igaming legislation.

“We are hugely excited about the potential in the market, and are looking forward to providing our customary high-quality igaming content to our new Ontario readership.”

PlayCanada recently published a report which stated that close to 1,300 jobs are expected to be created in Ontario thanks to the upcoming launch of the province’s igaming market.
