Golden Matrix has announced that it will launch a licensed online casino in Mexico on Nov. 1 as it seeks to expand in Latin America

Titled MexPlay, the online casino will offer ‘extensive’ amounts of table games and slot games, as well as a sportsbook. It will also offer tournament competition prizes in line with its UK subsidiary, RKings

Available in both English and Spanish, MexPlay goes some way to helping Golden Matrix achieve its aims of growth in Latin America, particularly in its B2C division.

Assuming a successful Mexican launch, the firm also noted that it could lead to wider LatAm expansion across regulated markets in the region.

“This represents the next major step by our company to expand its B2C footprint,” said Golden Matrix CEO Brian Goodman. “The recently acquired B2C operations of RKings now account for over 50% of our revenues and over 50% of our profits; similarly, we now expect important contributions to revenue and profit growth from our operations in Mexico.

“While MexPlay offers many traditional and popular online casino games and a sportsbook, it also incorporates the added excitement of the tournament business, which is unique to Mexican gaming and should attract considerable player interest and participation.”
