SBC to host virtual event for North America gaming on July 14-15 2020

SBC Events, the organizer of Betting on Sports America (BOSA), announced that it is bringing its successful and innovative SBC Digital Summit template to the North American market.

SBC Digital Summit North America will be held on July 14-15, 2020 and will feature a range of digital conference panels and presentations alongside a virtual exhibition hall, robust chat features, and specially-themed networking sessions. The North American event comes on the heels of the inaugural SBC Digital Summit which included seven different tracks over five days.

Due to overwhelming demand for the BOSA track from sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates alike, the North American event was born.

Sue Schneider, VP of Growth and Strategy at SBC, explained: “The reaction we have had from the North American market to the SBC Digital Summit was so strong that we recognize the need for hosting a virtual show dedicated to the North America gaming industry.”

The North American event will include two-days of conference sessions that will cover an all encompassing look at the industry. While the full details of the agenda will be released in the coming weeks, topics will include sports betting, igaming, casinos, lotteries, fantasy sports, regulatory updates, payments, affiliate marketing, the Canadian market, and compliance.

In addition to the conference agenda, the virtual event will have a full expo hall — a feature which sold out at the SBC Digital Summit. The expo hall will include virtual booths that enable suppliers to book meetings with potential customers, make new contacts, showcase their product offerings to attendees via video and distribute product literature. This creates the perfect venue for operators to learn about new technologies, talk with industry experts, and discuss future trends in the market.

Another vital component to the virtual summit is replicating the networking elements that are the gold standard for SBC events. It will include a range of features designed to help delegates to connect, including a virtual networking lounge with facilities for both one-to-one and group chats between attendees, and special online networking sessions focused on specific groups within the industry.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, added: “We have discovered during the week of running the SBC Digital Summit that sharing of information is incredibly vital at this uncertain time.

“We intend to bring that same mixture of high-level content, virtual networking and supplier exhibition to the US market in July, and once again demonstrate that digital events can deliver real value to operators, suppliers and affiliates.”
