The National Basketball Association (NBA) has struck an exclusive agreement with BetEasy to enter into its first ever sports betting partnership in Australia.
As part of the deal, the NBA will promote BetEasy products to its Australian audience. In return, BetEasy, which is majority owned by The Stars Group, the right to use NBA official data, in addition to its betting marketing materials.
BetEasy will use official NBA betting data and work closely with the NBA to protect the game’s integrity and promote responsible betting across Australia.
The operator will also be named the presenting partner of ‘NBA Pick’Em: Weekly 6’, which is due to launch in Australia later in 2019.
The partnership will be promoted throughout Australia, on BetEasy’s assets and the NBA’s online platforms, including the league’s official local destination, the NBA App and the NBA’s localized Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Back in December, The Stars Group became an authorized gaming operator of the NBA in the U.S. under the BetStars brand.

Outside of the US, the NBA has already established sports betting partnerships across France, Mexico and Uruguay.
