FanDuel racing head leaves Flutter

The constant at FanDuel right now appears to be change, as the operator’s general manager of racing is the latest gaming leader to depart the parent company.

Andrew Moore announced on LinkedIn that he left Flutter after 19 years, in which time he progressed from a product manager first at Paddy Power Betfair and then FanDuel to become a vice president and the leader of FanDuel’s racing division.

“I was fortunate to have a front row seat to the successes achieved in that time and play a small part along the way,” Moore wrote. “… I shall be staying in the [United] States providing consulting services with a focus on the Racing, Pari-mutuel, Gaming and Sports Betting industries.”

Moore’s exit comes after Flutter announced in March that it would sunset its racing-focused FanDuel TV, a move that Paulick Report suggested would result in around 100 lost jobs. Then-FanDuel CEO Amy Howe said at the time that continuing FanDuel TV’s racing operations “did not align with the company’s long-term strategy.”

GeoComply promotes engineering veteran to CTO

Leading geolocation technology provider GeoComply has a new technological chief, having promoted SVP of Engineering Steven Vo to the role of CTO.

Vo was one of the company’s original hires in 2012 and was on the team that started its first geolocation compliance solution for New Jersey when that state launched the first regulated U.S. iGaming market. After several years away leading engineering teams for Amazon and Uber, he returned to GeoComply in 2021.

The company said that as CTO, Vo will accelerate GeoComply’s expansion into new verticals, shaping how it both uses AI and defends against it.

“Our customers rely on us for decisions that carry real regulatory and financial weight, and the person setting our technical direction should have lived those stakes for years, and Steven has,” said CEO Kip Levin. “As we expand into new verticals and build for the AI era, that is exactly the kind of leadership our customers should expect.”

Co-founders David Briggs and Anna Sainsbury said Vo understands GeoComply’s technology and mandate better than anyone.

“Our customers are moving into new markets and facing fraud that gets smarter every month,” Briggs said. “Having a CTO who both built the foundation and knows our customers’ technical teams by name is exactly what this next stage calls for.”

IGT appoints ex-AGS chairman as CFO

International Game Technology (IGT) announced on Monday that it has appointed Adam Chibib as its new CFO, effective Nov. 1, 2026, to replace the departing Fabio Celadon. Celadon will step down as CFO on Oct. 1 but remain at the company as an advisor until Dec. 31.

IGT said that Chibib, who was most recently CFO of Raptor Technologies, brings more than three decades of financial and operational leadership across public companies, private equity-backed businesses and high-growth technology organizations.

His past gaming experience includes time as president and CFO of Multimedia Games, where he helped double revenue and increase the company’s market capitalization from approximately $47m to more than $1bn before its $1.2bn acquisition in 2014. He later served as Chairman of the Board and the Audit Committee of playAGS through its acquisition in 2025.

“Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT’s transformation,” said IGT CEO Hector Fernandez. “His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation. I also want to thank Fabio for more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT. He has helped guide the company through significant change and has been a trusted partner across the business.”

Chibib added that IGT’s strong portfolio and leading market positioning give it “a clear opportunity to create value.”

Polymarket recruits new US government relations lead

As it continues to expand its sports and other prediction markets offering across the country, Polymarket named Rob Eskridge as its new head of U.S. government relations.

Eskridge is a former assistant attorney general of Ohio who also worked in federal government roles and previously led federal government affairs for the Intercontinental Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.

Polymarket said that he will lead the company’s U.S. government relations and help improve and increase its engagement with policymakers. “As the policy framework around this emerging industry continues to develop, Polymarket intends to be an active and constructive participant in that conversation,” added the company’s statement.

Polymarket significantly overhauled its leadership team in recent months. It hired veteran executive Warren Jenson as its first CFO in September and brought in former Uber and Lyft executive Travis VanderZanden as chief growth officer in August.

Sportradar names first-ever VP of Prediction Markets

As sports data giant Sportradar continues to establish itself as a leading supplier in that sector, it has created a new leadership position to reflect the shift.

Daniel Zurakov, who was previously VP of Markets at sweepstakes exchange-turned-prediction market operator ProphetX, is Sportradar’s new VP of Prediction Markets. He will be responsible for building and scaling the firm’s event contracts business, wherein Sportradar provides official sports data and related services to prediction market platforms in similar fashion to its collaborations with sportsbooks.

Zurakov’s announcement came on the heels of Sportradar significantly expanding its sports data deal with Polymarket to encompass more than 20 leagues and competitions. Sportradar also has a multi-year deal with Polymarket’s main rival, Kalshi.

“Prediction markets are rapidly developing into a significant new institutional trading vertical, and Sportradar is uniquely positioned to help power that evolution with its world-class sports data, technology and global reach,” said Zurakov. “I’m looking forward to helping build and scale the business, expand the ecosystem and connect the next generation of markets with the gold standard in sports data.

DAZN hires ex-Sportradar and Betfair CFO

Sports streaming giant and growing online betting operator DAZN hired the data firm’s former CFO Alex Gersh to the same role as part of a larger overhaul of its C-suite team.

At Sportradar, Gersh oversaw the sports technology and betting data giant’s 2021 public listing on the Nasdaq listing and the company’s significant growth, including partnerships with numerous leagues, betting operators, and other companies. Now, he will lead the company’s efforts to strengthen its financial strategy, capital allocation, performance, and long-term value creation.

Gersh, who was also formerly CFO at Betfair, will succeed Darren Waterman, who moves from CFO into the newly created position of chief business officer. Meanwhile, former Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany has been named DAZN’s COO. All three will report directly to DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev, formerly of Entain.

The changes follow a period of expansion for the sports streaming giant, including:

IAGR names Brazilian minister, gaming leader to board

The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) elected Fabio Macorin, Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, to its board of trustees.

In his role at the SPA, Macorin plays a leading role in the development, implementation, and enforcement of Brazil’s regulated betting market, which launched in January 2025. His key focuses include combating the illegal market, strengthening anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing controls, and coordinating enforcement efforts with other government agencies and stakeholders.

“Fabio’s appointment brings to the IAGR Board of Trustees an important South American perspective at a time when the world’s regulators are confronting similar cross-border challenges,” said IAGR President Ben Haden. “Brazil has undertaken an ambitious regulatory transformation in a remarkably short period of time, and Fabio’s experience at the center of that process will provide valuable insights to regulators across our global membership.”

Macorin said that Brazil learned greatly from the experience of regulators worldwide as it built its own betting market, and that global challenges such as combating the illegal market, preventing money laundering, protecting consumers, and ensuring the integrity of betting “require greater cooperation among regulators across borders.”

Macorin’s arrival follows IAGR’s appointment of one of Argentina’s leading gaming regulators, Dr. Ida Magdalena López, to its board of trustees.
