The NBA has signed PrizePicks as an official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner of the league in a multi-year deal.
The operator and the league announced on Tuesday a new partnership that they say will expand fan engagement through innovative experiences and content. The agreement allows PrizePicks to launch promotional campaigns and participate in co-marketing efforts across NBA digital and media platforms.
PrizePicks get NBA IP rights
PrizePicks also gets the right to integrate NBA intellectual property across its daily fantasy and free-to-play products and marketing initiatives, including the use of league, team, and NBA event marks across the PrizePicks app and website.
Additionally, the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) will grant PrizePicks the ability to use images of multiple NBA players across its marketing, content and promotional initiatives.
“PrizePicks has established itself as a leader in daily fantasy sports through innovation and a strong focus on the fan,” said NBA Head of Domestic Fantasy Eric Rimsky. “We’re excited to collaborate with PrizePicks to enhance the NBA fan experience by combining the league’s unmatched moments with PrizePicks’ interactive innovation, creating new and engaging ways for fans to connect with the game.”
PrizePicks Chief Executive Officer Mike Ybarra said the partnership marks an important milestone for his company.
“Basketball has always been at the heart of our brand, and this collaboration reflects our deep roots in the game,” Ybarra added. “Our focus has always been on delivering fun and responsible experiences, and working with the NBA allows us to bring that commitment to fans through innovative integrations that enhance how they engage with the game.”
NBA adds to gaming partnership portfolio
The PrizePicks partnership was facilitated by KLUTCH Sports Group’s Brand Consulting and Sports and Brand Insights divisions. PrizePicks tapped KLUTCH as a strategic brand adviser last year and the firm worked with the operator on its 2025 NBA and NFL marketing campaigns.
While it is a DFS partner rather than a betting partner, PrizePicks is the latest online company to become officially affiliated with the NBA. The league contracts FanDuel and DraftKings as its Official Sports Betting Partners and names several other operators as “authorized gaming partners”, including:
- Bally Bet
- bet365
- BetMGM
- BetRivers
- Caesars Sportsbook
- Fanatics Sportsbook
- Hard Rock Bet
- IGT
- theScore Bet
PrizePicks’ existing sports footprint
Meanwhile, PrizePicks has several existing major league sports partnerships, including with five MLB teams across three states, as well as State Farm Arena in its home city of Atlanta, home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.
It also has deals with prediction market platforms Kalshi and Polymarket that allow it to offer event contracts in various U.S. jurisdictions, including the sports-focused Team Picks in 35 states plus Washington, D.C. It offers non-sports contracts, titled Culture Picks, in all states except Nevada and Arizona, and its pre-existing peer-to-peer DFS Player Picks in 36 states.
All in all, PrizePicks now has live operations in all 50 states, although in Nevada, it offers free-to-play games only.
